The error – ”The ending time cannot be before the starting time” – occurs when the starting time, Navision has registered in our table, is earlier than the ending time coming from the client”.
The validation must catch misstatements when the SHOPFLOOR worker has the opportunity to specify manual starting and/or ending time.
However, the error may also occur, if the NAV service has been set to a different time zone than the client of the computers. This happens mostly because the NAV service is installed with UTC time by default.
In order to correct this you have to enter the Dynamics NAV administration tool and correct the NAV service to have the value “Server Time Zone” in the “Services Default TimeZone”.
Save values and restart the NAV Service and the error will no longer occur where it should not.
